Low latency hub Europe

Luxembourg is ideally located in the middle of the so-called “Golden ring”, i.e. at close distance to the major Internet hubs of Europe: London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris.
Luxembourg took advantage of this privileged geographical situation by consequently building out its international fiber network, thereby establishing as a low latency hub in Europe. Low latency network connections are now available to a number of European destinations with round-trip times (RTT) around 5 ms (Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Paris).

Ultra-high bandwidth
As broadband becomes a universal service in Europe, Luxembourg is clearly determined to position itself as the European leader with regard to ultra-high bandwidth. The Government’s strategy for the next generation Internet networks foresees an ambitious roll out of ultra-high broadband all over the country, bringing between 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps to the population by 2013.
The country already offers “ultra-high bandwidth” business zones with a guaranteed redundant fibre access.
