Ecostart Enterprise and Innovation Centres

Ecostart offers support services to innovative businesses in Luxembourg by making facilities available to innovative startups. The Centre provides temporary accommodation (relay-centre) for domestic and foreign businesses at the development stage seeking a temporary foothold in Luxembourg.

Beneficiaries or the Ecostart services are young innovative entrepreneurs, technology based companies already at a start-up stage and innovative companies seeking to establish a temporary foothold for their operation in Luxembourg.

Europe4Startups

Europe4Startups is the first major European private initiative of its kind. It offers 12 months’ worth of unconditional, premium Cloud, networking and business services for FREE.

Te initiative has been launched by a Luxembourg-based non-profit association that aims to help promising young eBusiness and multimedia companies start up their ventures in Europe.

Its members, all of them non-competing, complementary business service providers, decided to join forces and contribute by offering their expertise and services to the foundation.

The services offered are both material and intellectual in nature and include hosting facilities and services, office space, business consultancy and financial planning support.

Plug and Play Tech Center

Plug and Play Tech Center is Silicon Valley’s leading high-tech accelerator and is home to more than 300 technology start-ups. In 2011, Plug and Play launched two major partnerships in Luxembourg, one with the Luxembourg Government and another with PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxembourg (PwC).

The Government partnership will offer four Luxembourg-based start-ups the opportunity to spend at least three months within the Sunnyvale accelerator. The companies will benefit from an intensive entrepreneurship training program and will be introduced into the Plug and Play Tech center network, which includes investors, successful entrepreneurs, leading technology company executives and innovative start-ups. The partnership will be complemented by financial support, provided by the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade, to help companies finance some of the expenses incurred during their time at the center.

This partnership is complemented by the PwC Accelerator, a Luxembourg-based European Accelerator joining PwC Luxembourg and Plug and Play Tech Center, which aims at granting innovative companies access to funding, markets and extensive expertise.

PwC’s Accelerator will host a broad spectrum of technologic companies from digital media, voice and data communication, enterprise software, bio information technologies, clean-tech and semiconductor. It will also support companies from growth to later stage. This new offering will help develop and market innovative products with solutions including:

Technoport

The Technoport high-tech business incubator provides companies with access to resources that entrepreneurs and small companies typically lack.

Technoportsupports start-up enterprises in the validation, implementation and development of a business idea by allocating human and technical resources to help them achieve their goals. Technoport offers an impressive mixture of individualised coaching in the field of company development with a modern business infrastructure and an ideal work environment for entrepreneurs launching a start-up.
